Aldi Matcha Tea Review
Aldi's matcha tea comes from Japan and is 100% organic as you can see on its label.
We have prepared several matcha lattes with it and the quality is quite fair. To take as a drink matcha latte we do not recommend it at all since quite a few bitter aftertastes appear. A good option is to use it for smoothies or for desserts where it is mixed with other ingredients.
If we compare it with Mercadona Matcha, Aldi Matcha Tea loses out. The quality is quite inferior, the green color is dull and the taste leaves much to be desired.
I hope we have helped you choose and clear up doubts if you were thinking of purchasing a matcha at a very good price.
