What a good experience to have a matcha latte in The Miners Coffee!
This is a chain of coffee shops that started in the Czech Republic and arrived in Barcelona in 2022. They are specialty coffee roasters and currently they already have two stores in Barcelona, one on Gran Vía and the other on Rambla del Poblenou.
They prepare a very good matcha latte, intense, with a very bright green color and no bitter aftertaste. Quality matcha very well prepared. You can choose between fresh cow's milk or vegetable drink, hot or iced.
You can accompany the matcha with an assortment of pastries such as cinnamon roll, almond croissants or choco chip cookies. We know that depending on the day you can also find matcha and white chocolate croissant but we were not lucky. If you are more salty they also have some bagels.
A Poblenou location It is spacious and has a very nice decoration but you will not find tables to sit at. They have a bar with a few chairs and almost everything is takeaway. A atmosphere is modern, calm, relaxed and the very good attention.
They have a wide variety of coffees to go and beautiful cups to prepare your coffee or matcha latte at home.
If you prefer to drink your matcha latte sitting down and calmly, the best option is to visit the location on Gran Vía. Same quality but more comfortable to sit and relax.
