You can prepare a good matcha latte with a cup and a simple electric whisk as the only utensils. TRUE? In Japan the tea ceremony is something magical, he ritual to prepare the tea matcha for a small group of guests, always in a quiet environment and in connection with nature.

A chasen it's a bamboo whisk which is used for mingle he matcha tea with hot water. Tea whisks are carved from a single piece of bamboo and come in several types. They have a long, thin handle and a series of thin, flexible bristles that allow the matcha tea to be mixed evenly and create a smooth foam on the surface of the drink. 

You can start with an electric whisk to mix the matcha well and get that smooth matcha foam with minimal effort.

A chashaku is a spoon of bamboo carved from a single piece of bamboo about 18-20 cm long, specially designed to measure the amount of matcha tea needed to prepare a cup of tea. It has a curved shape at one end to make it easy to remove the matcha powder from the package and pour it into the bowl.

A tea filter is an optional accessory used for sieve he matcha tea and remove any lumps or impurities that may be present in the matcha tea. You can use any small strainer you have at home if you see that the matcha tea has lumps. 

Water boiler

A water boiler It is a basic element to prepare any type of tea. For matcha tea, it is recommended to use hot water at a temperature of around 70°C – 80°C but never higher so as not to affect the flavor and properties of matcha tea.

If you don't have a kettle, don't worry, it's not essential! You can heat water in the microwave or on the stove and make sure it is not too hot.

If the matcha is good, it will dissolve in a moment, even with warm water :)
